All I want for Christmas...

This is probably a little late to be posting since my husband never buys me anything. He says he never has any money. He has full access to the money he just really doesn't know what comes in and goes out, which is a whole different subject for a different day!

Although this year all I want are these two simple things. Some chap-stick. I have never had such chapped lips in my entire life! I always have kept chap-stick around and worn it just because. Now that the kids dig into my purse and Josh has eaten the chap-stick I have bought this year or Jacob puts it in his pocket because he thinks its "his" and then it gets washed. Would it be too much for him to get me some chap-stick. Yes I probably should have just bought this myself by now but since when I go to the store I have 3 kids in tow I can't always remember everything!

The 2nd thing I want is also pretty simple. Christmas comes ONE TIME a year! Why does my husband have to be such a scrooge? He just doesn't like Christmas. I could blame myself and ask what can I do to make it more pleasurable for him? I just don't know. So tomorrow I am going to go buy him a nice gift and try to get him in the spirit. Maybe the lovely Christmas Eve dinner I plan on making will make things better. Jessica's mac-n-cheese recipe makes EVERYONE happy :) Lots and lots of carbs.

This probably could have been a happier blog but I guess I am down in the dumps after the night I had. This all goes back to I can't wait until 2010. It's time to MOVE. We have out-grown our apartment or either we need to declutter a whole whole lot. This is another topic for a different time- it would be titled my husband is a hoarder.

Have a Merry Christmas its FINALLY here!

P.S.-Hope you like my new signature. I worked very hard to find this :) I am apparently not very blog savvy!

2010

I am so so so ready for 2010. I am glad for some things that have happened in 2009. The birth of Jared was wonderful, he's an amazing little guy! The way Jacob & Joshua have grown into their own little people. There are so many things that have strengthened me into the person that I am now, although I would like to make some changes that's what the new year is for though right?
In 2010, we will be moving.. making some major financial decisions which I hope are for the best. Jared will be 1 Josh will be 2 and Jacob will be 5! Its just such a big year in so many different ways. We have been so blessed to live where we live for 2 years but our time is up & we have to move on.
My husband got me thinking about 2010 earlier as he ate a bag of chips and just as he does every year he tells me next year is going to be different. After both of his parents have had heart-attacks he just doesn't really get it. I am no nutritionist but he does just make me laugh. I love him so much but he loves his chips and dr. pepper's wayyy more!
I am not sure if I will have a new year's resolution I just don't know what the purpose of it is. If you read this will you have one?
All I can say is I am really excited for 2010. I hope its a GREAT year for our family!

Santa @ The Mall

Kaylee, Jake & Josh
Jared so sleepy after the long wait for Santa.

Josh on the train!

Today I decided we would go have lunch at the mall, visit santa & ride the train (josh's favorite part). Not a good idea!! The mall was terrible I should have known better. We stood in line for an hour just to see santa. So this is the photo we left with. I was so glad just to have it done though. Jared was so sleepy he couldn't stand anyone or I think I would have had a good picture. This will take better timing next year! And maybe a husband too?

Tuesday night @ chick fil a

Jared & the santa cow.
the cow was tickling jared & he LOVED it.

Josh-He is SILLY!

Jacob happy about eating & watching the polar express!

Tonight we went and ate at chick-fil-a. On tuesdays they have half price kids meals so its super cheap to feed the kids. This is the 2nd year we have went & watched the polar express. Its a lot of fun. The kids eat their kids meal, watch the polar express, have ice cream & hot chocolate. Well not together but they can have whatever. Of course my kids ran around most of the time but its a lot of fun anyways. Whatever gets us out of the house.

New to this

:our family at Jacob's school thanksgiving lunch:

This is so new to me, but I would really love to get in a habit of doing a blog atleast once a week!

I am so excited about Christmas with all 3 boys. I think the biggest most exciting part is for the first time in 2 years I am not pregnant, the other greatest part is I am done with all of my Christmas shopping all the presents are even WRAPPED!! Then before I know it I will be planning a birthday party for a 1 year old & a 2 year old. I can't believe how they have grown. I hope to post some pictures soon! We still haven't taken our Christmas pictures and they're usually done by now. Next week... I hope!
More to come...
